Cabonne Council has released its draft operational and delivery plans for the next financial year for community comment.
The draft documents are available on the council’s website and at the Cabonne Council chambers until Wednesday 21 May, and the council encourages all residents to view the documents and provide feedback.
The operational plan outlines Council’s specific program of works for the next year, the introduction from Mayor Kevin Beatty says, and identifies targets and measures to monitor success.
“The focus for this year, and for this term of Council, is around building a future ready Cabonne,” the mayor’s message says.
“There were many challenges faced by Cabonne communities throughout the last Council term - from COVID, mouse-plagues, to the floods. We know there will be more challenges we need to face - economic, environmental, infrastructure and social.”
