Cowra Eagles have sealed their third win in a row in the Blowes Cup men's first grade competition at Forbes' Grinsted Oval.
The Platypi put in a mighty second half effort to chase down an early Cowra lead in Round 7, but the Eagles dug in for the win.
Forbes' first grade captain Will Seyffer rued the fact that the visitors again got away to a good start, but credited his side with turning it all around in the second half.
The scoreboard read 7-25 at half time and Forbes came back into the play determined.

They ran in back-to-back tries before Cowra was able to take back possession and extend their lead to win 24-33.
"It was a bloody huge effort," Seyffer said of his side.
In a tough contest, with key players still battling injuries, he credited the young team for continuing to show up and step up.
Ky Obyrne made his first grade debut and put in a solid effort on the wing.
It was Old Boys day for the club and Seyffer said it was great to see a good crowd out to enjoy fine weather and footy.
"We've got a good crowd today with the old boys, it's really good to see the support," he said.
