My Time playgroup runs every Friday from 10am to 12 noon at Little Learners Early Intervention Centre.
The group is funded through Playgroup NSW and was created especially for children from 0-16 years with disabilities or a medical condition.
It costs nothing to go along and, says playgroup facilitator Stacey McLelland, offers plenty of benefits for children and adults.
“They get to meet other people in similar circumstances and share experiences,” Stacey says.
While the playgroup is mainly aimed at the parents, “.. the kids benefit from any interaction with other children,” Stacey says.
Morning tea is provided for the children and their parents or carers who accompany them.
New members are welcome to just show up but you can contact Stacey at Little Learners for more information.
