Students from kindergarten to year six showcased their skills in front of the rest of the school.
Many tricks were performed by the students before everyone went to the oval where they participated in skipping activities for an hour, rotating through five different stations.
Parents were invited to join in.
After the skipping, family members joined the students for a BBQ lunch before the afternoon assembly.
Students certainly worked hard on gaining sponsorship, raising a massive $5317.95. This is an outstanding achievement and displays the community spirit of Forbes Public School, with people uniting together to raise money for a good cause.
Jump Rope has a two-fold purpose raising money for research and raising children’s awareness about fitness. No doubt children will be eagerly awaiting their thank you prizes.
A big thank you to our students and the community for their support.
