The events will remain the same as last year with the half marathon, 10km, 5km and 2km events to suit all abilities.
The course offers runners a flat, fast course at the picturesque Lake Forbes.
Entries are now open online and people are encouraged to get in early to take advantage of the early bird offer.
All entries in by June 10 will receive a free t-shirt (for half marathon runners) or cap (for 10km and 5km runners).
Entries are open online with people encouraged to check the Forbes Running and Tri Club Facebook page and website (www.forbesrunningandtriclub.com) for updates.
The electronic timing system will be in place again.
The fun run was previously held in October, however Forbes Running and Tri Club president Ian Bown said they decided to change it to June as that month doesn’t conflict with any other running festivals and is also a quieter month in Forbes compared to October.
“We’ve brought the date forward - we found June being a non-competitive month around here,” Mr Bown said.
“It used to be mid-October. We put it forward trying to catch other people.”
