Coordinator of the group, Helen Perry, said that it is now over 10 years since the ladies started knitting squares, which are then sewn together as blankets.
In that time they have made close to 500 blankets which have been dispatched to the Sydney Depot for distribution to people in need in Australia and to overseas countries.
Mrs Perry went on to say that the ladies enjoy being able to help people who are less fortunate than themselves. They wished to thank those who donate knitting yard - it is very much appreciated.
During their morning tea, the ladies farewelled Marj Gaffey, who has been a member of the group for some time now.
Mrs Gaffey is leaving Eugowra to make her home in Grenfell, where she will be closer to her daughter Robyn. She is wished well on her move and hope life is good to her in her new home.
