The community is invited to take part in the NAIDOC celebrations which aim to commemorate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and achievements.
This year’s theme is ‘Our Languages Matter’ and aims to highlight the important role that languages play in Indigenous culture.
The Dreaming Centre will host several different activities to celebrate their culture which the community can take part in.
These activities include traditional dancing, a smoking ceremony and Indigenous games. Along with the activities there is also bush tucker and a BBQ for those who get a little hungry.
