Eugowra travelled to Trundle for games in both League Tag and first grade on Saturday afternoon.

The girl's game got off to a fast start with Mikala Mongan scoring in the first minute and Kimeaka Bermingham adding the extras.
The next fifteen minutes saw both teams making some errors then the Geagles hit their straps with tries to Abbie Howell and Mikaylah Dukes, Kimmy missed with the first kick but got the 2nd one. Eugowra went into half time with a 16-0 lead.
The second half started with a runaway try to Monique Morgan for Trundle and the conversion by Karla Karaitiana was successful. 16-6.
Once again the Eugowra girls took control of the game during the last 15 minutes with a try to Casey Jones with the kick flagged away and another try to Mikaylah Dukes and Kimeaka kicked the conversion.
The final score saw a victory to Eugowra 26-6
After sorting out the missing jumper dilemma....a big thank you to Manildra juniors for helping out....the Eugowra Golden Eagles were ready to take on the competition leaders Trundle.
It only took 3 minutes for Adam Hall to cross for Trundle and Lincoln Taylor added the extras. The 9th and 13th minutes saw tries for Trundle by Clay Hartin with Lincoln Taylor converting them both 18-0.
Then in the 27th minute Jesse Durning crashed over- with Eugowra being penalised after the try giving Trundle an 8 point try thanks to the boot of Linc Taylor.
After the kickoff Eugowra got possession through a kick and Mitch Hutchings scored...the conversion was unsuccessful.
At halftime Trundle lead 30-6.
The second half saw the Eugowra boys hammered by penalties- at one stage being down to 11 players. Trundle managed to cross the line again 3 times early in the 2nd half.
Eugowra put in a good effort in the final 20 minutes with some solid defense but couldn't manage another try.
With only minutes to go Trundle scored again making the final score 52-4.
