Friday started busy with showjumping in the arena, junior judging from fat lambs to tomatoes, and the parading of dairy cattle.
The horse ring was a hive of activity with showjumping all day and the championship dog show featured some spectacular entries from all over the east coast.
The pavilions are packed with displays that show off local creativity, the art, photography and decorated cakes are a must-see.
This year’s new sections, particularly mosaics and decorated gumboots, have been embraced and the main pavilion is really worth a visit.
Sideshow alley features plenty of rides for the little ones, yummy treats and showbags.
It’s really only just begun, head on down to the Show this evening to see motorbike riding demonstrations by our champion Forbes Auto Sports Club members, the farmers’ challenge, the sashing of Miss Showgirl, and of course the fireworks at 8pm.
There’s even more on Saturday with sheep and cattle judging, yard dog trials, dog high jump and a magic show.
Don’t miss the grand parade at 2pm, harness racing at 2.30pm and the ute barrel racing to wrap up the afternoon.
