Fit for Life is a program run by NSW Police and PCYC across 64 clubs in NSW.
Now it's up and running in Forbes, every Wednesday morning during school terms at the Forbes High School gymnasium.
The program is open to males and females aged 10 to 17 years of age and runs at no cost to participants.
It's there to improve physical fitness, getting the day off to a good start with breakfast too, as well as provide a positive and enjoyable environment for participants.
Each morning begins with a fitness/boxing for fitness session which commences at 7.40am - run by qualified instructors from Anytime Fitness, with involvement from police, PCYC staff, Forbes Rotary volunteers and council staff.
The fitness and boxing session is followed by a cooked breakfast prepared by Forbes Rotary members.
On completion of breakfast students attending other schools are transported to their schools to commence the school day.
Interaction with program participants focuses on core values of commitment, respect and integrity.

Fit for Life is back in full swing at Forbes High for the final term of the year after the holiday break.
Young people interested in joining the Forbes Fit for Life program are welcome to turn up at Forbes High School at 7.30am on Wednesday mornings.
There is no cost involved and free PCYC membership is also granted to program participants.
In our region, Fit for Life launched at Parkes PCYC last year and continues there each Tuesday morning during school term. Its popularity is seeing it grow.
"The response from the kids involved has been awesome," Parkes PCYC manager Tim Watts said.
