And this year, organisers are celebrating the news that Cabonne Shire Council will partner with Eugowra's Most Wanted Mural Committee and contribute $10,000 to the event.
Cabonne Shire councillor Jenny Weaver described Eugowra's murals as "incredible" as the council approved the sponsorship.
"The number of people I've spoken to over a period of time that have visited the murals are so enthralled with them, it is a credit," Cr Weaver said in reference to the weekend's organisers.
Cr Ben Jones told the council meeting the $10,000 sponsorship stretched much further than next weekend.
"If you look at this it is $10,000 but it is a greater benefit than just the weekend event for the (Eugowra) community and the shire, It beautifies the town," Cr Jones said.
The Eugowra Most Wanted Mural Weekend will be held from May 7 to 9 with about 20 artists in town.
This will be the ninth murals meeting and the plan is to create three fantastic new murals.
"We are designing murals for The Eugowra Memorial Hospital, Eugowra Rugby League Club and a mural featuring the Old Eugowra Post Office and John our own singing postie," a statement from the committee says.
"The Rugby League mural celebrates the centenary of Eugowra Rugby League and will feature the "Team of the Century" of Premiere winning 1st Grade Captain Coaches and the various Eugowra Rugby League jumpers from the past 100 years.
"The Hospital Mural will display the original CWA hospital, past staff as well as the Soldiers War Memorial Hospital building which was demolished when our new MPS was constructed.
"A third fun Mural of John our Singing Postie will be painted with John singing while doing his round on his red postie bike whilst being swooped by a magpie and chased by a dog."
It will all make for a busy few days for the artists and sign writers, who visitors can see at work in the Apex Pioneer Park on the banks of the Mandagery creek.
This year the Mural Markets, organised by Eugowra Evening VIEW Club, are making a return on the Saturday morning from 9am to midday.
At least 20 stalls will be in the park alongside the mural painting with a coffee van and plenty of quality handmade goods and food selling on the Saturday.
The wonderful CWA ladies, who have supported the Murals since the beginning, will be providing their delicious home cooked refreshments to our visiting artists.
"This partnership with Cabonne Council will greatly assist the Mural Committee in enabling its Mural Project to continue beautifying Eugowra, making our great little town a better place to live in as well as succeeding in being an interesting and enjoyable destination for visitors," the mural committee says.
"On behalf of the Mural Committee and the community of Eugowra, we would like to thank Cabonne Council not only for this generous funding partnership but for the ongoing support and commitment that they are providing to our community.
"Many of the artists and sign writers have returned every year since 2012. Eugowra has embraced them as friends and they look forward to returning to Eugowra each year.
"The works of art they have created have certainly brightened up our town and they have given sightseers a reason to stop and enjoy our beautiful little town.
"Each mural provides a great insight into the history of our area. The murals are a fantastic accomplishment which have really helped to put our town on the map. It is so great that every day we now see travellers stopping and taking photos around our town."
