The inaugural President was the late Les Hawke who welcomed a large gathering in Forbes Golf Club.
At the 2024 AGM Neil Gilmour was elected President who was directly involved in its creation four decades ago. Probus meets monthly on the fourth Friday.
AGM REPORT
President David Nock opened the AGM by welcoming 29 members and invited secretary Lloyd Gerdes to call for the apologies and read the minutes of the previous AGM in March 2023.
After those items were completed and declared true and correct, the deputy treasurer David Nock read the financial report which was seconded.
President David called for a tour report from Ray Martin. There was nothing new to report.
Alister Lockhart gave the welfare report, which indicated five members had varying illnesses and two were on holiday. There being no other business, morning tea was announced.
After this President David declared that all executive positions were declared vacant and invited Alister Lockhart to chair the AGM and conduct the election.

Management committee will consist of the president, senior vice president, secretary, treasurer, program officer, tour director and immediate past president.

President David resumed the chair and thanked Alister for conducting the elections then called for the new president Neil Gilmour to come forward, be inducted to the office and accept the chain of office.
This being done, President Gilmour thanked David for his year of service and presented him with his President's Certificate.
The Woodburn Trophy for recognised service to the club was then voted on and the winner was David Nock.
President Neil then closed the meeting and announced that the speaker for the meeting on Friday, April 26 would be Mitch Corrigan, Construction Manager for Inland Rail.
