Jobactive is a five year initiative that the Australian Government will use to deliver an employment service.
Joblink Plus have established offices in Forbes, Parkes, Bathurst, Lithgow, Orange, Mudgee and Cowra, with part time and outreach services as far north as Dunedoo and west to Lake Cargelligo.
Joblink Plus regional manager Neil Hatton says the agency has employed new staff in these towns who bring their local experience and know-how.
The provider also has a formal partnership with CentaCare Wilcannia-Forbes.
“We’re very well set up to bring fresh perspective to the central west labour market,” Mr Hatton said.
CEO Christine Shewry is excited to be offering jobactive to central west business.
“Employers can expect professional recruitment services at no cost from Joblink Plus,” she said.
“We offer pro-active communication, access to government incentives and work ready staff.
“We are really looking forward to becoming part of the beautiful central west landscape.”
Joblink Plus is a not-for-profit organisation that partners with community and employers to create sustainable employment opportunities.
The company started in Tamworth more than 30 years ago, and now covers 60 per cent of NSW.
