Eleven judges will taste some 560 wines in the next couple of days – from light, fruity whites to heavy reds, fortified and sticky wines.
Wine show committee member Andrew Kerr said the show has once again attracted good entries from right across the state – border to border and from coast to outback.
The NSW Small Winemakers Wine Show started 25 years ago as the Golden West WineFest with John Saleh, proprietor of Sand Hills Vineyard, and members of the Rotary Club of Forbes.
After three years the show became the NSW Small Winemakers Wine Show.
The community’s opportunity to taste the wines entered into the show this Friday night.
Tickets are $25, at the door, and include wine tasting and finger food.
Tickets to the presentation dinner on September 17 are also available, for $125, through BWR Accountants. They include a five course dinner complemented with 10 trophy winning wines.
