On Wednesday March 14 the Forbes Sporting Shooters Association held their AGM to elect their office bearers for the coming year.
The minutes of the 2017 Annual General Meeting were read and accepted by the members and all positions were declared vacant. The meeting was chaired by Vince Toohey.
Norm Brook was elected unopposed for President in 2019.
Phil Picker was elected unopposed for Senior Vice-President in 2019, Wayne Facey was elected unopposed for Junior Vice-President in 2019.
Ben Smith elected unopposed for Secretary, Bruce Runchell was elected unopposed for Treasurer and John Dean was elected as assistant Treasurer.
Ben Smith was elected to be Public Officer.
Wayne Facey, Bruce Runchell, Wayne Parsons and Norm Brook were elected to be state delegates.
Tony Bratton was re-elected as Publicity Officer with David Coleman elected as Social Publicity Officer.
Results of the .22 rimfire rifle shoot held on Sunday March 18, The weather was hot with wild and windy north north westerly at 55kph.
Range officers were David Coleman and Wayne Parsons.

The next sporting shooters .22 calibre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or .17HMR) shoot will be on Sunday April 1 at 10am.
The next Wednesday shoot will be April 4 at 3pm.
All target shooters are welcome to attend these shoots. Any person wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can take part after filling out a P650 form at the club, Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

The next shoot for the sporting clays will be a 50 target night on Saturday April 7 starting at 6:30pm. On Sunday April 8 a 100 target field shoot will be held starting at 9:30am.
