The school’s senior girls’ relay team qualified for the State titles and student Tanesha Riddle for the 11 years girls high jump.
The Senior Girls Relay team, consisting of Shyeka Griffiths, Meg Fahey, Tanesha Riddle and Tamika Carstairs, qualified for the state carnival with a time of 1:01:14.
Tanesha cleared the high jump to 1.2 metres at Western Zone to qualify for the State event.
The talented junior went on to qualify for the finals at Homebush, and finished in 20th position out of a field of 40 competitors.
Unfortunately the senior girls relay team did not make the finals at the State level.
Congratulations to the kids on a great effort! More to come on Forbes’ other State reps.
