His selection is just one reason the Forbes High Show team is celebrating the end of the show season on a high.
Under the guidance of Rachel Eagles and Damian Byrnes the show team have had multiple successes throughout the show season.
Eugowra show was the last of the local shows attended for the year, with students coming home with plenty of successes.
Forbes High students dominated the paraders competition with the novice class being won by Jack Cole, second to Louise Herford and fourth to Jasmine Casey.
Kyle Bolam went on to win the experienced paraders class and win Champion parade.
Kyle has now qualified for the Sydney Royal Easter Show paraders competition next year for our zone.
“This is a fantastic achievement for Kyle and a wonderful opportunity to represent Forbes High School at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2018,” Mrs Eagles said.
Kyle Bolam and Cody Neilsen were finalists in the beef judging and Louise Herford in the Fleece Judging.
The heifers had a fantastic last show with Escalar Park RR Honour M214 placing first and winning Reserve Champion Heifer.
Warrendine Lucy’s Stage placed second to Honour in her class and Langley Dale Marissa placed second in her interbreed class heifer 13-18 months.
“Our show team had had an amazing show season and I would like to congratulate them all on their achievements,” Forbes High School’s acting principal Jason Nottingham said.
“I would also like to thank Mrs Eagles and Mr Byrnes for their dedication in supporting our students and show team throughout the year.
“We are extremely lucky to have such dedicated and supportive staff at our school.”
Forbes High School would also like to thank all of the families and businesses that have supported their show team throughout the season this year.
“The community support for our show team is amazing and we really do appreciate all that they do for our school and the students,” Mrs Eagles said.
“We look forward to continuing our partnerships in 2018.”
