Police stepped up their presence and had a drug detection dog in Forbes over the weekend.
They conducted more than 70 person searches, based on indications from the dog, and had 19 actual drug detections.
From that, police laid three charges they described as significant.
A 23-year-old from South Bathurst was alleged to have MDMA and cocaine in his possesion.
A 20-year-old male from Wangaratta, Victoria, was alleged to have MDMA; and a 19-year-old male from Florey in the ACT was also charged with supplying a prohibited drug.
They are scheduled to appear in Forbes on January 18.
A police spokesperson said the pubs were very busy and that overall behaviour of the thousands of visitors here for Vanfest was very good.
It also appeared travellers navigated the wet roads safely, with no accidents on the records.
