This weekend will have the Forbes Ladies Open played on Sunday.
The field numbers are looking encouraging.
This does mean that the course will be closed until 1pm.
Those players looking for a social hit are well advised to do their chores in the morning.
The Forbes Open is set for May 13, which unfortunately is Mother’s day.
Get your name on the time sheet, and also snaffle a place in the 4BBB on Saturday.
I hope you have your team down for the Winter 3’s. Play was due to commence this week, but you can still get a spot if you rush into the Pro Shop and see Simon or Ray.
Do not forget the Young Open on May 5-6, the legends Pro-Am on 18 May, and the West Wyalong Open on Sunday, May 27.
It is crystal ball time
On Saturday, May 5 is the Monthly Medal, sponsored by Adept Plumbing.
With their help you can drain some putts On Sunday, May 6 the course will be closed until 1pm, to allow for the play in the Forbes Ladies Open.
A Stableford Medley will run once the course is open.
On Saturday 12 May we have a 4BBB Stableford, sponsored by Forbes Livestock.
This is a prelude to the Forbes Open, to be played on Sunday 13 May.
Once again spots in the NSW Open and NSW Seniors Open are up for grabs.

Veteran’s Golf returns to its normal schedule this week with Tuesday golf at 9am for ball toss and playing partners.

Ladies Golf
Last Saturday, April 28 a Stableford sponsored by Haley Hurford Beauty Therapy was won by Heather Davidson (34)on a count-back from Jill Cripps. NTP ninth Bess Shields and 18th Fran Smith.
Wednesday 2nd May a Stroke round sponsored by Colleen Venables and Teresa Armitage was a good warm up for the open Tournament on Sunday. Winner Division One was Janet Smith 75 on a count-back from Colleen Bratton.
Division Two winner on a very good round was Marie Reid with 68 with Jill Cripps 71 being runner up on a count-back. Sweep to M Reid, J Cripps, S Black, A Kingston and S Crosby 74.
Monthly Medal winners were Davidson One Colleen Bratton, Two Marie Reid and three Jill Cripps. NTP 9th S Crosby. Congratulations and good luck for the weekend everyone.
The Ladies open Tournament starts on Saturday with 4BBB Stableford, Scratch and Handicap this is sponsored by Painted Daisies, Woolerina and Pro Shop and its not too late to put your name down.
Sunday is the big day with 60 plus nominations with a few more expected on the day it is a shotgun start at 9.30am and the draw for tees is in the locker room.
