The regional carnival attracted many hundreds of players from all parts of the West and Central West, and Riverina, aged from ten years to open ladies competing in a full day of netball.
Thank you to all the parents who worked so hard on the day, in the barbeque and canteen.
Some of the parents stayed in the areas for most of the day, and the carnival would not have been a huge success without the workload undertaken by those parents.
Thank you also to all the umpires, as games cannot be played without umpires.
Forbes was represented by four teams.
The 11 years team of players enjoyed their day, with a number of the players playing netball competition for the first time. All players worked hard, and displayed great sportsmanship in all their games.
Players are encouraged to now attend Friday netball to gain more skills, ready for their next games in Saturday competition.
The 12 years, 14 years and 17 under years representative teams continued their training, gaining experience and match practice, before they all compete in the NNSW State and State Age Championships in June and July.
Congratulations to the 14 years reps who came runner-up in the 15 years rep division. The Forbes team played up a year, to gain more experience on the day.
Results for the day are; 17 years/open division winners Young Opens; runner up Blayney 17 rep.
15 years rep division; winners Cowra 15 rep; runner up Forbes 14 rep.
14 years rep division; winners Cowra 14 rep; runner up Blayney 14 development.
13 years rep division; winners Parkes 13 rep; runner up Cowra 13 rep.
