The second-placed Rhinos made life tough for the defending premiers on home soil, the Boomers forced to fight hard all the way over a Simon Osborne inspired Manildra.
In the second big match-up of the round, the Eugowra Golden Eagles stormed home over the top of Grenfell to win 36-16 after the Goannas led 12-10 at the break and later 16-10 early in the second half.
But Eagles raced in 26 unanswered points to score an impressive victory and move into third on the ladder, ahead of Canowindra and Grenfell on percentages.
Condobolin scored its second win of the 2018 season, this time in the western derby with 36-29 triumph over Peak Hill Roosters in a highly entertaining match.
The win moves the Rams off the bottom of the ladder, where the Burrangong Bears now sit after a tough loss against the Tigers.
Canowindra ran out big 50-12 winners over the Bears while the Cargo Blue Heelers had the bye.
The cup competition had some surprising results in league tag with Eugowra knocking off Grenfell 12-0, the Goannas first loss of the year.
Manildra Rhinos won 18-12 over Trundle and Condobolin defeated Peak Hill 28-4 while Burrangong won its first match, running out 26-14 victors over Canowindra.
Undefeated competition leaders, Cargo Blue Sheilas had the bye and sit alone on top of the Woodbridge Cup ladder on 14 points.
In youth league, Manildra Rhinos remain undefeated on top after winning 24-4 over Trundle Boomers and Canowindra chalked up a 36-12 win over the Cargo Blue Heeler Pups. Peak Hill had the bye.
