Forbes Archery Club president Rod Burke said they had their first shoot on Sunday, August 12, with 10 members coming down to the range to participate.
After much of their equipment was lost in a fire earlier this year, the Archery Club are now back on track, with them using some equipment, including three-dimensional targets, given by the Parkes Archery Club.
The Forbes Archery Club are planning to have regular shoots at the Cumbijowa Reserve every second Sunday.
Mr Burke said everyone is welcome to attend to give archery a try as it is a family sport.
The Archery Club have several adult and child-sized bows for people to give the sport a try.
For those wishing to give the sport a try, you can join the Forbes Archery Club at three shoots before choosing to become a member.
For first time archers, Mr Burke said club members will help teach them the basics of archery.
Members of the archery cub will help walk you through the process if you decide to join.
