The annual event hosted by Forbes Birth to Kinder in will take place in Victoria Park from 9:30am to 1pm.
This year, an estimated 500 kids will gather to take part in 18 major activities set to get the kids involved in literacy.
These range from singing and music based, to interactive storytelling and reading activities with a focus on reducing rubbish.
Plans for the day include:
Central West Lachlan Land Care’s Bushranger Lagoon will be reading several stories around the environment.
Forbes North Public School’s very own interactive story ‘Shoes from Grandpa’ will get everyone involved.
Wiradjuri story-teller Larry Brandy will be getting everyone involved in Wiradjuri culture in the Town Hall.
The Mainly Music activity will get everyone up and moving to a fun rhythm.
Central West Library members will be story-telling with their ever popular platypus mascot.
