The 2018 Can Assist Charity Cruise is on Saturday September 22 and motorbike riders are encouraged to be part of it.

The event, a fundraiser for Forbes CanAssist, is a day trip around the district taking in Eugowra, Cudal, Cargo, Canowindra and Cowra – where there’ll be a coffee and fuel stop.

The $30 entry fee covers lunch at the Quandialla Hotel.

There will be raffles and lucky ticket prizes with all proceeds supporting Forbes CanAssist.

Riders are asked to assemble at South Circle (off Camp Street) at 8am for a 9am departure.

For further information contact Butch Wooldridge on 0412 264 431 or John Schrader on 0404 155 247.

“We’d love to get as many bikes as we can,” Mr Schrader said. The first ride had 43 bikes, and attracted a lot of attention.

Can Assist supports Forbes cancer patients with costs associated with treatment, and travelling for treatment.

On average they provide about $8000 a month in assistance, for fuel, accommodation or chemist bills, to local families.
