Forbes’ junior anglers all had an opportunity to cast a line on Sunday on the final day of the school holidays.
People had a chance to take part in how to fish sessions, a casting competition, receive free goodie bags with bonus fishing lures, fishing tip classes by local experts, touch tank and an RMS boating safety stand.

The Gone Fishing Day marked the end of a busy school holiday period in Forbes with the opening of the Olympic pool and several events hosted at the Youth and Community Centre.
During the holidays, kids were able to take part in chalk art, board games and trivia and the PCYC Fun for Kids Tour, hosted at the Youth Centre.
