The first crash occurred between Cowra and Young, and claimed the life of a man in his 30s.
Just before 7am, emergency services were called to Scenic Road, Wirrimah, about 30 kilometres north of Young, and found an unregistered Toyota Corolla had left the road, hit a road sign and come to rest against a tree.
The male driver and only occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Detectives from the Hume Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
About 1pm on the same day, a child died and two women were seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash near Wellington.
Emergency services were called to Goolma Road after a small hatchback left the road and rolled.
A three-year-old girl sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
