Forbes riders Shane Davie, Bella Davie, Natalie Mihalic, Molly Fuge, Orlana Butt and Melissa West travelled to Tamworth last weekend to compete in the National Ranch Sorting Australian Championships, which kicked off the National Rodeo and Campdraft Finals.

While cattle were tough all weekend, on the Saturday Molly Fuge and Melissa West made the finals of the #4 Handicap class, and came away with second place out of 113 runs.
Junior Bella Davie had a very successful campaign, bringing home a second in the Beginners class and fifth in the Ranch Hand class.
She also was awarded with fifth in the overall point score for the Beginners division for the year, which qualified her for the Top 20 saddle shoot-out on the Sunday night.
This see's the end of the 2018 competition, with the 2019 Ranch Sorting competition kicking off in Dubbo on February 9 and 10.
The Forbes club’s first event is on March 23 and 24.
