Jack Cole, Eliza Facey, William Cox and Jasmine Casey travelled to Dubbo with four heifers to compete in the annual event. The show, now in its 27th year hosted 182 competitors and animals, with four states represented.
It was an extremely competitive event, Jack said their heifers came up against some bigger-framed heifers and were outdone in their classes.
Jasmine and Jack returned from the show with fourth place in their parading heat, while Jasmine's heifer, RDM Pacific, placed second in class in the judging section.
Jack said the event was a good experience and thanked the Ag teachers.
Teacher Rachel Eagles said they are really proud of all of their students, and it is wonderful to see and hear how they have grown.
"The show is a great opportunity for young people that are interested in the beef industry to further develop their skills and knowledge," she said.
