A NUMBER of vehicles spotted conducting burnouts have led to a Forbes teenager losing his driver's licence.

Officers attached to the Central West highway patrol unit were alerted to vehicles conducting burnouts on Bedgerebong Road at Forbes at 10pm on Friday.
"Police stopped a vehicle in the area and the driver, a Forbes man aged 17, who held a provisional drivers licence was breath tested returning a positive result for his licence class," officers said in a statement.
"He was arrested and taken to Forbes Police Station where he provided a positive reading in the novice range PCA (0.013)."
The teenagers's driver's licence was suspended on the spot for three months and he was fined $561.
Novice range relates to learner and provisional licence holders and is a range between 0.000 and 0.019. Provisional licence holders have a zero blood alcohol concentration limit.
