The local group, with the support of the Forbes community, has donated more than $8000 to breast cancer charities this year.
The group's president, Yvonne Shaw, says they would like to extend thanks to those who contributed towards a $2000 donation to the Breast Cancer Network Australia for research as part of October's breast cancer awareness month efforts.
Forbes NRMA staff raised more than $338 in a raffle and Jemalong Residential Village staff and residents donated more than $632.
Support group volunteers also manned a gate at the Forbes Motor Show.
The group can also confirm the Mother's Day Classic in Forbes raised more than $6700, contributing to a total $1.7 million for breast cancer research.
The group is also celebrating the Federal Government's announcement of an additional $27 million in funding to train another 41 breast care nurses.
Breast Cancer Network Australia worked closely with the McGrath Foundation to advocate for increased investment.
Forbes Breast Cancer Support Group welcomes new members and invites breast cancer survivors to their Christmas lunch: bring family members or friends if you would like.
Lunch is from midday on Saturday December 14 at the Forbes Services Memorial Club. You're just asked to bring along a Secret Santa gift valued up to $10.
The support group meets at the Vandenberg Hotel from midday, for lunch, on the second Saturday of every month. They'll start from February 15, 2020.
