Offenders entered a Quarry Road residence through a rear door and stole a wallet containing cash and the usual cards, while car keys were stolen from inside a Clarence Street home.
The Clarence Street residents discovered their car, a white Camry, as well as cash and other items from the garage were missing on Sunday morning.
In both cases the residents were at home, a police spokesperson said.
