For Forbes Public School principal Megan Staples, it was a chance to connect students everywhere for one cause.
"Our children are certainly aware of drought and feel the impact of it," she said.
With the end of the school year just a few days away, it also provided an opportunity for some end-of-term fun.
"And hopefully it results in the shower of rain we've all been waiting for," Ms Staples added.
