The perpetual " Hornborg" Trophy for the community member or band member that has contributed to the running or profile of the band in the most positive way was awarded to Mrs Lauren Walters.
Lauren, a woodwind player, has automated the Band's accounting system and has contributed to the Band's committee meetings.
Other awards were presented to: Most Improved in learners Rachel Todd, Most Enthusiastic in Learners Ben Boynton, Most Improved Cameron Toole, Best in Band Jenelle Toole.
The year saw the largest intake of musicians in the learners session for some years, and most of those are keen to continue in 2020.
The band's busy final term of 2019 included its most successful fund raising concert, the Christmas carnival, the 50th Forbes Carols by Candlelight and carols at North Side Chapel, Bogan Gate and Bedgerabong.
The band will be back for Australia Day, at the Rotary breakfast and for the parade.
