A resident woke at 4.20am to find a male with a torch in their bedroom, a police spokesperson said. The offender ran when the occupant woke.
Bank cards were taken from another house in Farrand Street while the occupants slept, some time before 6.20am Wednesday.
Police said the cards have since been used in Forbes and they are investigating.
A 23-year-old Forbes woman has been charged with reckless wounding and breach of apprehended violence order after an alleged attack on a male.
The man was treated at Forbes hospital, a police spokesperson said.
In other news from the local police beat, an Engel fridge has been stolen from the back of a vehicle parked in McDonnell Street.
The theft occurred between 8.15pm Monday and 7.50am Tuesday, police said.
Police are investigating reports of trespassing in Dunstan Close.
Residents have reported three males were looking into vehicles and trying car doors at 2.30am Monday.
They left the area when a resident went out and it doesn't appear anything has been taken. Police are reviewing footage.

A scooter has been found in Black Street and handed to police. The owner can describe and claim it at the station.
