Work to repair a 450 metre section of the Newell Highway, five kilometres north of Forbes, will take place for five days from Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm, weather permitting.
Forbes Shire Council will be carrying out the work on behalf of Transport for NSW.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
