Mark had battled with diabetes most of his life. He was diagnosed when he was seven years old, and was 48 years old at the time of his untimely death.
Mark attested from the NSW Police Academy on December 16, 2004. He was posted to Campbelltown where he worked until he transferred to Forbes in October 2016.
Mark was a dedicated and passionate police officer. He had an extreme pride in his job, the uniform and the role he played in the communities he served.
He was a role model to those he worked with in the Forbes Sector of the Central West Police District and was someone his workmates could go to for advice and guidance when the need arose.
Mark's sudden death is especially difficult for those who have worked with him within the NSW Police Force and emergency services.
Mark was a mate to those he knew and worked with. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
