Forbes North Public School representatives said every child who took part, from the strongest of swimmers to those participating in novelty events only, seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves, which is what it should be all about.
The school community would like to congratulate Jedd Smith who broke the boys all age 100m freestyle record with a time of 1.30.44.
"On behalf of all the staff and students involved in the carnival, thanks goes to all the parents, carers, family and friends who came along to support our students and add to the positive atmosphere on the day," Principal Steve McAlister said.
"A special thanks also, to the staff involved in organising and running such a successful event; and to the Forbes High School students who assisted in various roles."
From this carnival a squad of 29 swimmers represented Forbes North at the Lachlan District PSSA Carnival on Friday February 28 which took place at Condobolin.
