Therese Newell was recognised for her work supporting Rotary's activities and her commitment to Rotary.
The Paul Harris Fellowship is not limited to Rotarians but to anyone whose commitment to others and the community around them is reflective of Rotary's ideals and those of Rotary's founder, Paul Harris.
Mrs Newell said she was very surprised to have received the honour.
"I think Rotary is a really important service club because we're not only helping our own community, we've got the avenues to do so much more to our world to make it a better place," she said.
"We are a small club, but even a small club can achieve great things. We're very proud of what we do.
The presentation of the Fellowship occurred at Rotary Ipomeoa's regular fortnightly meeting. Due to restrictions, this was Rotary Ipomea's third meeting since a temporary shutdown earlier in the year.
While things may have slowed down temporarily, that hasn't stopped Rotary Ipomoea from being helping community groups.
They are involved in assisting Aruma to refurbish an old preschool site into their disability site called the Hub. Rotary Ipomoea have also received a grant from ANZ which went towards the refurbishment.
Along with helping to support some community projects, Rotary Ipomoea are still working on hosting their regular markets and aim to host the Christmas Tree Festival again this year.
