Forbes North Public School has filled the windows of the former RM Williams store with a display of school work - after being unable to host traditional Education Week activities due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The first window display introduced the student choirs, showcased the Wiradjuri language program, literacy and numeracy work as well as show-winning produce from the kitchen garden.
If you head down Rankin Street this week you'll be able to view some of the spectacular solar system models produced by Stage 2 students.
Coming up in the next couple of weeks will be coverage of the school's cross country fun, as well as the athletics carnival.
It's just part of the school's efforts to share the wonderful activities they've continued in a very different year - especially since our regional shows have also been cancelled along with the opportunity to see student artworks and more.
They've also produced video tours of their classrooms for their Facebook page.
"Education Week is a time when everybody gets to share and see what we do," Sue-anne Nixon said.
"This is a nice way for the community to know what we are doing."
The feedback - through comments on the school Facebook page and even phone calls to the office - has been incredibly appreciative.
Students were also thrilled when Mrs Nixon went to collect their science work - the solar system models - for the windows.
"They were very excited that they were going to be seen by everybody," she said.
Mrs Nixon says the window displays will continue until someone else wants or needs the window space, she's brimming with ideas to take it through to Christmas with a look at the different subjects students are learning about.
