The Forbes Apex Riverside Tourist Park hosted a great night out for guests at their Fire By The Lachlan event.

The event took place on the evening of Saturday, August 29 and raised $925 for charity organisation Amputees NSW.
T.J Management and Forbes Apex Riverside Tourist Park's manager Jamie Hughes said they had 35 guests come down and take part in the Fire By the Lachlan event.
Mr Hughes said that it was a great event and they would like to thank the people who came, as well as the Forbes Shire Council for their donation of Why Leave Town cards for the raffle.

Along with the WLT cards, the event raffled off a $65 Bunnings gift card donated by the Apex Riverside Tourist Park and a $100 gift card donated by G'Day Top Parks.
Mr Hughes said they hope to host Fire by the Lachlan again next year, provided covid restrictions ease.
Darell Sparke from Amputees NSW said the amazing generousity and thoughtfulness of the community at the Forbes Apex Riverside Tourist Park cannot go understated and will help people struggling with the life effect of amputation.
AmputeesNSW is a volunteer Not-For-Profit that has supporting amputees and their families since the 1980's.
"It's all about compassion and understanding from others who have experience in life with amputation, Amputees Supporting Amputees," Mr Sparke said.
Amputees NSW provide peer support programs to help families, education and experience to communities and health teams and work to bring the disability out of the shadows.
That includes Hospital visits, schools programs, social activities, sports events, peer support visits, and community events.
