It's the question on all our lips with plenty of water lying on paddocks around town and Lake Forbes lapping at its banks.
The Bureau of Meteorology on Monday issued another initial low-level flood warning for the Lachlan River at Cottons Weir.
At time of preparing for press on Monday, the river was expected to exceed minor flood level. 3.5m, on Tuesday morning.
The water was not expected to reach minor flood levels at the Iron Bridge or Jemalong Weir.
Over the weekend, the water level in Wyangala rose to 92.9 per cent, only a week or so ago it was at 77 per cent of its capacity.
At time of going to press the forecast was for Forbes to receive more showers (1-5mm) on Wednesday.
After that, however, there were a couple of dry but chilly days forecast before conditions warmed up Saturday ahead of another potentially wet weather system coming in Sunday.
