Croquet club back on courts after wet November

On Tuesday 30th the last day of Spring, we had 28 players for Golf Croquet. What a wet November it was, four times the average rainfall.

There were three players that had three wins: Geoff Coles, Ray Burridge and John Allegri.

The big wins:

  • 11-2 Kevin Rubie and Geoff Coles
  • 9-4 Joan Littlejohn and Marie Spry, John Browne and Ray Burridge.

At the end of last week, we learned of the passing of Mary Hodges. After Croquet on Tuesday we formed a guard of honour wearing black arm bands at her funeral at the cemetery.

On Saturday 4th we had 28 players, we were pleased to welcome a visitor from Wagga Wagga, Adam McCullum, a son-in-law of John Farah.

There was only two winners of three games: Colleen Liebich and Neville Spry.
