A Canowindra woman in her 80s with COVID-19 has died, Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) has announced.

It is the second COVID-related death in Canowindra in less than a week.
The woman, who was fully vaccinated however had underlying health issues, is being reported as the region's only death in the latest NSW Health report.
"We offer our sincere condolences to the loved ones of the person with COVID-19 from our region whose death was reported in the 24-hours to 4pm yesterday," WNSWLHD said.
It takes the region's death tally throughout this Omnicron wave of the virus up to six, including the other person from Canowindra and four in Dubbo.
There are 26 people in hospital battling COVID-19, with three of those in intensive care.
There were 470 new COVID cases across WNSWLHD to 4pm on Wednesday, with 207 positive PCR test results and 263 positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) results.
16 of those were in the Cabonne local government area (LGA), while Blayney recorded 12 and 17 were in Cowra.
There were 117 new cases in Orange, 106 in Dubbo and 56 in Bathurst.
