The day is a chance to connect with the Central West based regional arts development organisation, network with creatives and explore Canowindra's creative spaces.
It will be the first opportunity for many to meet Arts OutWest's new executive director Kylie Shead.
"Arts OutWest always makes the annual general meeting more than just a meeting, it's a chance to showcase a pocket of creativity in our region," Ms Shead said.
"There's always lots of casual but valuable networking that happens when you bring people together to wander through galleries and museums or catch up over lunch.
"You also get to hear from Arts OutWest staff and Board members about the current work of the organisation," Ms Shead said.
Set up as a day-long wander down Canowindra's picturesque Gaskill Street the day starts with coffee at 11am at Perennialle Plants, co-owned by musician Nerida Cuddy.
Then there'll be visits to local galleries: David Isbester Gallery, Canowindra Arts Gallery and Melissa Barder Galleries and Café, where local artists will be on hand to talk about their galleries and their art.
A light lunch at The Old Vic Inn follows then onto The Age of Fishes Museum for the short actual annual general meeting and a tour of the museum.
The day ends around 3.30pm with a visit to the Canowindra Historical Museum.
A few extra surprises will be thrown in during the day.
The event is free but places are limited to 50 people. RSVP via Eventbrite or artsoutwest.org.au or call Arts OutWest on 02 6338 4657.
