Forbes Public School maintains a tradition of excellence in its Transition to Kindergarten program.
This is orchestrated by a detailed learning journey over two terms where students participate in their Prep 4 Big School Program and Kinder Start.
Students are engaged in a variety of opportunities at Forbes Public School which foster a positive and meaningful start to school before they initially start kindergarten the following year.
Families, students and staff work together to enable an effective foundation for their transition to school.
“It is a wonderful program which enables us to work closely with preschool providers, families and students to make their start at school extremely positive,” principal Dafydd Thomas said.
“The success of this program facilitates students into our school as we nurture them during the next chapter of their education.”
