Dr Jack Naung San M, Dr Seyed Ajjaward and Dr Steven Zhang will all finish their specialist GP training at the medical centre over the coming week.
Dr Jack finished yesterday and Dr Zhang and Dr Ajjaward will have their last day on the job next Wednesday.
All three registrars said they have enjoyed living regionally in Forbes and have benefitted from the training they have received at the Forbes Medical Centre.
“This place is unique because we have been able to work in the surgery as well as the hospital,” Dr Ajjaward said.
“This is good training as it allows us to give continuous care to patients.”
Dr Jack, who has been in Forbes for 12 months, will continue his regional work at the Orange Aboriginal Medical Service.
Dr Ajjaward has also completed 12 months of training at the medical centre. He will travel to Bathurst to work at Loxley House Family Practice.
Having been in Forbes for two years, Dr Zhang will move from the country to the coast and continue his work at the Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital.
All three hope to sit the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Fellowship Exam this year which, if successful, admits registrars into the specialty of general practice.
Before they leave, Dr Zhang, Dr Jack and Dr Ajjaward will hand over the reigns to four new registrars who will start at the Forbes Medical Centre at the start of February.
