STOLEN CAR: A car was stolen from a Church Street residence on Tuesday night. The keys were taken from inside the home between 8.30pm Tuesday and 6.30am Wednesday.

BREAK-IN: A house in Bandon Street was broken into on Tuesday night. Offenders entered the home between 10pm Tuesday and 10am Wednesday and took personal items.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Personal items were stolen from a car parked in the driveway of a Berkley Street residence on Tuesday night. It does not appear the vehicle was locked. The offence occurred between 9pm Tuesday and 8am Wednesday.
A mobile phone was taken from a vehicle parked in Reymond Street on the same night. Police said this vehicle was also unlocked.
ATTEMPTED ENTRY: A College Road resident was woken by barking dogs early yesterday morning and saw people in his yard. The incident took place about 3am and the would-be offenders ran away.
Scientific police were in Forbes yesterday inspecting these homes and vehicles for fingerprints.

Police are urging Forbes residents to take all precautions to secure their homes and vehicles, and remove all valuables from vehicles when leaving them.
CAR CRASHED IN FAILED THEFT: Police are investigating what appears to be the attempted theft of a car from outside a local motel on Sunday morning.
The car’s owner woke up about 4am to the sound of the car starting and saw it crashed into another car in the attempt to drive away. The offender fled the scene. Police are reviewing CCTV footage.
