DRUG DETECTION: Police have seized prescription medication and a quantity of what is believed to be ice after a vehicle search in Forbes. Police searched a 36-year-old man and a vehicle in Flint Street about 11.30am Friday. They seized a small resealable bag of a substance believed to be ice and a number of oxycontin tablets, which are a prescription medication. They are awaiting forensic analysis and finalising enquiries, but do anticipate charging a male with possession of illegal drugs.

DRIVING LIGHTS STOLEN: Driving lights were stolen from a vehicle parked in a Lawler Street carpark on Friday, about lunchtime. Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or might have information to contact them on 6853 9999 or through Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
PEOPLE SEARCHED: Police gave a Forbes man a move-on direction from Lachlan Street early Saturday morning. The man was searched, but nothing of interest was found.
