The lucky dips proved very popular with the children, plants sold well, Margaret Girot had a worthwhile day with chooks as did Don McKenna with his chooks and tomatoes. The CWA and Pre School also did very well with their stalls.
Oraganisers thanked David Hyde and Ron Hay for the magnificent presentation of Byrne's Park. Thanks to Mike O'Callaghan, Bob Roach, Max and Marg Swift and Ray Agustin who helped with the setup, publicity and bins.
Thanks to Greg Agustin and the SES who braved the heat and humidity in full overalls, and to the locals who gave encouragement and positive feedback to the Fair committee (Di Healey, Noela Lane, Rob Cameron, Amanda Turner and Barb Roach).
Anyone wishing to help organise the next fair, to be held in the Autumn, should contact Noela Lane.
