Chloe met with finalists from Cowra, Young and Grenfell in Grenfell last weekend.
Each contestant was interviewed privately by the judging panel which included a representative from the contest sponsors NAB.
Following this each contestant faced two impromptu questions, about the NSW Government Greyhound Racing Ban and the wearing of uniforms.
Contestants also presented prepared speeds on subjects ranging from netball to resilience. Chloe spoke about disability.
Chloe Morrison won both the public speaking competition and the overall Youth of The Year final. She will now progress to the district final in Cowra on March 18.
The Forbes and District Lions Club will host the state final in Forbes on Saturday April 8.
This event will be open to the public, if you would like to attend contact lionsclubs@hotmail.com.au or call Youth of the Year coordinator Peter Bright on 0419463803.
